Dictionaries tell us that with the word "synergy" we indicate "the simultaneous activity of several organs or functions aimed at causing the same effect on the organism". And yet, as well as in the field of physiology, the term is used in the social sphere. We are thus led to the idea
\ndivision of labor. We understand that society is nothing more than the name we give to cooperation between men and women, bearers of differentiated knowledge, resources and skills.
\nTo achieve our goals, we turn to each other. Without the intervention of others, no one can provide for their own life. Each one is dedicated to the task that he believes he can carry out more appropriately; and turns to the cooperation of others for the rest of his needs. Which puts each of us in a position to pay for what he does worst with what he does best. And the result is an increase in the productivity of everyone's work, which is equivalent to an increase in the well-being of all.
\nSocial life is therefore a system that creates "synergies". Even if we often forget it, social cooperation is aimed precisely at this. And it is more so when it is voluntary, that is, when it leaves everyone the possibility to choose the task to which they dedicate themselves and the actors whose work to use. This is the principle on which every free society is based.<\/p>\n
